Charles Telfair, an Irish pioneer, came as a ships surgeon to Mauritius in 1810 and became famous with botany, his passion.
He lived together with his wife Annabella in their private estate Bel Ombre which has been lovingly restored and now offers a fine dining experience to the hotel guests.
Enjoy the beautiful surroundings, the mountains on one side and the indian ocean on the other side.

On the free golf day, excursions can be organised on site to the different places of interest. The wonderful nearby beach invites you to fine solar bathing.

You live in the “Luxurious & Private Guest House”.
The exclusive 5-stars guest house is situated only about 7 minutes with the car of the sea and from the small local centre.
The hotel is a family business and is led by a likeable Swiss married couple who also plays himself enthusiastically golf.
